Repetition is your Reputation
So I was shooting some hoops with my former college friend (Great Basketball Player. He would school anyone any day on the court!!!), and he said something that really stuck out to me.
“Repetition becomes your reputation.”
Now, he was talking about free throws, but you can really apply this lesson everywhere in life. One of the only ways to guarantee success is to build good habits that bring you closer to your goals every day. It’s a lot like practicing the basics in basketball. It doesn’t matter if you can dunk if you can’t hit a free throw.

People today expect instant results all the time. Anything worth having isn’t gonna come easy. You’re not gonna get a six-pack by going to the gym once. But if you consistently go to the gym every day for a month, and you eat healthily and take care of yourself, you’re gonna see the results.
Your reputation is going to reflect the actions you repeat time and time again. If you lie a lot or you’re flaky, you’re gonna be known as an untrustworthy person. Your mind is just like a muscle, you gotta train it constantly. If you keep doing positive and healthy exercises, it’s just gonna become second nature for you.
You’re not even going to have to think about it. It takes some time to develop a habit, so the most important thing you can do is practice it at the same time every single day.
Make your habits and actions positive and it will reflect positively on your reputation.
Stay Strong,
Peter Stixx
